Between AS and A Level exams, I worked as a developer, working with PHP, MySQL and AJAX to create an asynchronous, dynamic interface for displaying tracking device data.
As a front-end developer, I created front-end templates with HTML and CSS for Concrete5 sites. I created a bespoke plugin for the company based around the Google Calendar API, and used MySQL to fix the back-end for a client having trouble with their Wordpress plugin.
More of my work is available on GitHub.

Seven months after joining the mountaineering society at University, I was elected President.
Since leading a mountaineering society, I have undertaken courses that have allowed me to lead groups all over the UK, hiking, climbing, scrambling and at altitude in the French Alps.
I belive exploring cultures is very important for personal development, and I have been fortunate enough to explore this through travelling all over the world, Egypt, Cyprus, Croatia, Australia, Czech Republic, France, Italy, Greece, Andorra. The outdoors has always been focal on these trips, having completed hut to hut walks in the Ecrins and the Dolomites, as well as summitting the Aiguille du Tour, and Roche Faurio, both Alpine peaks above 3,500 metres.
Balancing my love of tech and the outdoors sits music, evident through 13 years of guitar - playing as part of function bands, jazz groups, classical guitar ensembles, musical bands and as a solo performer.
